Minions Nation, the time is almost here for our favorite group of little yellow guys to be in theaters in RealD and IMAX on July 10, 2015. But be warned, this time there's someone who's badder then they are...or want to be anyway.

So the cute thing about the Minions, is that they want to serve and be bad. They try so hard. Ever wonder how they became this way? Well in Minions you'll get a history lesson about those adorable little yellow guys and their journey down the "bad" road.

The journey down the Minions "history" road is filled with lots of laughter, as their good hearted attempts to please their masters back fires a lot. It was really fun to see how they started and all their attempts over the years.

We also learn a bit more about the personality of our favorite trio and how they became a team. You'll get to see what makes each of these three minions special in their own way.

I wish we stayed a bit more in the past learning about the Minions, but then I would have missed all the delicious badness of Scarlet Overkill, played by Sandra Bullock.

I have to be honest that Scarlet Overkill sorta stole some of the show from our guys. She was so good at being bad and inspiring our guys to serve her evil plots. Until of course things don't go as planned. What happens when the Minions and their evil master no longer agree on the evil plan?

Ah that's the fun of the movie! Both children and adults alike will enjoy seeing how these bad guys are really good at heart.

MOVIE SYNOPSIS

This July, go back to where it all began.

The story of Universal Pictures and Illumination Entertainment’s Minions begins at the dawn of time. Starting as single-celled yellow organisms, Minions evolve through the ages, perpetually serving the most despicable of masters. Continuously unsuccessful at keeping these masters—from T. rex to Napoleon—the Minions find themselves without someone to serve and fall into a deep depression.

But one Minion named Kevin has a plan, and he—alongside teenage rebel Stuart and lovable little Bob—ventures out into the world to find a new evil boss for his brethren to follow.

The trio embarks upon a thrilling journey that ultimately leads them to their next potential master, Scarlet Overkill (Academy Award® winner Sandra Bullock), the world’s first-ever female super-villain. They travel from frigid Antarctica to 1960s New York City, ending in mod London, where they must face their biggest challenge to date: saving all of Minionkind...from annihilation.
