Today we made a special visit to Toys“R”Us Times Square to meet with WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins and WWE Diva Paige, who was there for an exclusive autograph signing with fans in celebration of the upcoming WWE SummerSlam!

Usually at media events, I'm in charge of asking the questions while my son hangs out in the background. But not today. Today was all about my son enjoying this experience and getting his chance to step up to the mike. Figuratively speaking.


So when it came time to ask our question, my son had a chance to ask Seth Rollins a question first. Who knew my son would be nervous. Understandable since Seth is a bit intimidating when you watch him wrestle. So it took LOTS of encouragement, including from Seth himself, before my son finally got the question out.

The question? What is Seth favorite part about being WWE World Heavyweight Champion?!

Seth answered (in part) that it's about meeting the fans. About putting on a great performance and then getting the support and feedback from the fans.

Then he asked my son if he wanted to hold the belt *gasp* How did he know my son has dreams of having his own mini wwe championship belt?! What a special honor for my son. Who BTW, said the belt was heavy. HA!


Then it was my turn. Since SummerSlam is this weekend, I wanted to know how's he's preparing. Now let me say I was ready to hear some trash talking. Instead he said he's just trying to relax and get some rest so he's ready

Wait what?! Where's the trash talking about getting pumped up to put the finishing move on John Cena?! I think he toned it down because I'm mom, I swear he did! But I'm not fooled. I know he's going to pull out some special moves during his match with John Cena!



Speaking of special moves, we also met WWE Diva Paige, who was just as sweet and sassy as she is on TV. Of course I had to get a photo with her right?


I thought my son would have a question for her but he just wanted a photo also. LOL


Paige is an amazing wrestler so it was cool to meet with her in real life. I'm also excited to see what wrestling moves she pulls out during the Three Team Elimination Match at Summer Slam.


After the media interviews both Seth and Paige took time out to meet their fans. The fans were amazing and so excited to see Seth and Paiage. Some came with gifts to give while getting autographs and photos with Seth and Paige.


How did those fans get so lucky? They were part of the first 225 customers to purchase $30 or more of WWE merchandise at Toys“R”Us Times Square to receive a ticket to the event.

What a nice way to give fans a little extra as we count down to WWE SummerSlam 2015!
