Fall is a great time to enjoy all the favorite comfort foods. But while I enjoy eating, I still aim to have healthy meal options for my comfort food favorites, including fried chicken and french fries.

So how did I make my chicken and fries healthy? By using The Dreo Air Fryer!

I chose to use The Dreo Air Fryer after learning about it's oven-grade smart temperature control system, which cooks foods completely, but still keep things tender yet crispy. All without a lot of oil and frying!


When my Dreo Air Fryer arrived, I couldn't wait to use it! I quickly grabbed my chicken and fries and plugged my unit in. At first glance a few things stood out for me.

• First there was a cookbook, which had full recipes of the different meals I could make in my Dreo Air Fryer, including breakfast and desserts! I could dehydrate fruit for healthy snacks!
• Second was how large the basket is, which means I could fully fit the items I wanted to cook inside. All pieces can be placed and cooked together to save time.
• Third it was counter top friendly, even though it was a good size for cooking larger portions, it didn't take up a lot space. I could easily fit it onto my counter in my kitchen. And then either my sink or dishwasher for easy cleaning.

Once I looked over everything, it was time to cook!


I used the pre-heated settings to warm up my Dreo Air Fryer quickly, once it was ready used the digital menu, selected poultry and then added my chicken. All I had to do from there was press start and wait the 20mins. My chicken came out fully cooked and crispy on the outside but not dry!

Next up the fries, which followed the same process. Set time and temp using the menu, add the fries, press start and wait! FYI there is a timer that goes off half way in case you want to turn over the meat or shake the fries for even cooking.

There's also a viewing window that lights up so I can "peek" inside to see how my food is cooking.


Less then 1 hour later, I had my chicken and fries cooked and ready! And guess what, NO OIL or FRYING needed!
