Fun at Nickelodeon Worldwide Day of Play
Once again Nickelodeon is bringing their Worldwide Day of Play Celebration to Brooklyn's Prospect Park. Get ready to bring your family out for a full day of fun. We attended the Worldwide Day of Play 2014 and it was awesome!
Note: I was invited as media to this event. No other compensation was received. Any personal views expressed are always 100% my own.
Brooklyn's Prospect Park is a great spot for Nickelodeon's Worldwide Day of Play Celebration. The park will be filled with Nickelodeon-themed games and fitness-themed activities.
Last year some of the activities we enjoyed included
Running the NFL PLAY 60 course
Blowing with the giant ball and pins
Launching slime
Playing hoops
Bike racing
And that was just a few of the activities we enjoyed. After all that physical fun, we took some time to enjoy some of the healthy snacks offered.
We also posed for photos with some of the Nickelodeon characters at the different activity areas.
While we had lots of fun this year, I know that next years Nickelodeon Worldwide Day of Play Celebration will be even more fun! I can't wait to attend. If you live in the NYC area, I hope to see you and your family there!
During Nickelodeon’s Annual Worldwide Day of Play, its TV channels, websites and app–Nickelodeon, Nicktoons, Nick Jr., TeenNick, Nick.com, NickJr.com, Nicktoons.com, TeenNick.com and the Emmy® Award-winning Nick App –will go off-air and offline from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. (all times ET/PT), and more than 4,000 events will be held nationwide to celebrate kids and all the ways they stay active through play.
