Viva Kids is off to the races with the release of animated family adventure RALLY ROAD RACERS in theaters nationwide today, May 12.

My Review

Overall Rally Road Racers is a fun action packed animated film that will entertain families with it's humor and lessons on friendship and following your dreams.

While the life lessons are nice, it's really the humor between the characters that standouts. Especially the toads.

While the toads are the bad guys, how they go about being "bad" is hilarious for most of the movie. I thought that was a refreshing spin that made this more then just our "hero" going against "the bad guys".

As for the hero, Zhi, he really had to face and overcome some hard challenges to make his dreams come true and save the day. It's a bit more serious then usual animated films, but was nicely done in a way kids can understand.

Plus Zhi had his friends for support and encouragement. His friends were great and supported him along with the movies storyline, which was nice too watch.

SYNOPSIS

Zhi, a rookie race car driver, gets the opportunity to compete against the reigning champion of the rally car circuit.

With help from a former driver-turned-mechanic, Zhi must overcome treacherous terrain, rival racers, and unexpected obstacles to prove he has what it takes to be the next great racer.
