The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show NYC Performances
The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show celebrated its 10th Anniversary by returning to NYC with performances at The Duke Theater.
Note: I received media tickets to the show for review purposes. Views expressed are always 100% my own.
The show feature stories not seen in 10 years including The Artist That Painted a Blue Horse, Mr. Seahorse, The Very Lonely Firefly, and of course, The Very Hungry Caterpillar.
Dream Snow will be added to the story rotation for the first time in New York City during the holiday season.
My Review
I first saw the show when it was in NYC years ago when my son was much much younger. We both delighted in seeing the images from favorite Eric Carle’s story books bringing brought to life on stage.
Now years later a new generation of young children and their families can enjoy the same style of puppets performances with an update here and there.
The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show continues the thrill of bringing stories to life in an engaging and interactive way for families. Kids can become part of the show by answering questions, helping to count along and cheer the animals on during their on stage adventures.
An extra delight is at the end of the show when the cast brings out the puppets for meet and greet. Just another way The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show helps make lasting memories for families.
