Make Flavorful Rice with Chef Merito Marinade
As a family we enjoy a lot of rice dishes, so I'm always looking for ways to give plain rice a different flavor to make a new-ish meal.
Note: I received product samples for review purpose. Any personal views expressed are always 100% my own.
During the summer I tried a few Chef Merito food products, including their marinades to enhance our meals with some Latin tastes.
- Meat Marinade - With a sweet citrus taste, this delightful marinade is packed full of flavor. Perfect for all meats such as Pork, Steaks, and Roasts.
- Fajitas Marinade - With predominate notes of cilantro and complementary spices, use this bold and spicy marinade to make juicy fajita tacos, or mix it into rice to give it a punch of spice and fluffiness!
- Chicken Marinade - With hints of orange zest and savory garlic, this Mexican-style marinade will enhance the flavor of your favorite Chicken dishes
- Adobo Birria - With its unique combination of Mexican chilies and selected spices this marinade paste delivers a mild hot traditional taste.
- Seasoned Bread Crumbs - The perfect blend for Milanesa, "bistek empanizado" and "chicken fried steak". You do not need to add anything but the meat. Empty the contents on a deep dish, "dip" the steak, chicken or fish in the breading on both sides and then fry or even grill.
I chose the Chicken Marinade for a rice side dish because it included hints of orange zest and savory garlic. Doesn't that sound delicious.
It was quick and easy to mix into the rice. Just 1 cup of rice and 1 tbsp. of marinade. Cook as usual. And done! A tasty rice side filled with flavor.
Now I'm looking for more ways to use Chef Merito food products while cooking!
