Lysol and The Giant Room hosted a co-design workshop to celebrate the 6th year of Lysol’s "HERE for Healthy Schools" program.

During the workshop Keegan-Michael Key helped families create Lysol Minilabs Science Kits to donate to Title I schools.

Before joining the workshop, Keegan-Michael Key shared about his passion for children's education and how excited he is to help create Lysol Minilabs Science Kits, since they teach students about germ education and healthy habits.


As part of the workshop families watched a video that highlighted a health issues and asked for possibe solutions. Then families worked together to make a kit with products to fit that solaution.

The science kits also include educational materials, lesson plans and activities designed to make hands-on learning accessible to Title I schools.

It was a fun workshop that inspired kids to come up with some creative ideas, along with keeping the focus on having a healthy enviroment.

How You Can Receive a Lysol Minilabs Science Kit

Avaiable now, eligible teachers at Title I schools can complete a form to request a Lysol Minilabs Science Kit for their classroom. Those who are selected will receive the first of three kits starting in September, while supplies last.

Each kit will include printed and hands-on materials for up to 30 students, along with lesson plans. (Lysol Minilabs Science Kits do not include Lysol products)
