Free and open-to-the-public, The New York Liberty’s The Brooklyn Dribble is where youth participants and their families will dribble basketballs along a one-mile path in Brooklyn Bridge Park on Saturday, Aug. 10 at 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.

The Brooklyn Dribble is the Liberty’s largest community event since the team relocated to Brooklyn.

The Dribble Parade will begin at 10 a.m. on Pier 6 in Brooklyn Bridge Park and will be led by Fogo Azul marching bad. The parade will end at Pier 2, where participants will be met with a Liberty Fan Fest hosted by Jess Sims, featuring a performance from rapper MC Lyte.

There will also be a D.J., slime station from Sloomoo Institute, food trucks, lawn games, face painting, airbrush tattoo artists, hair styling stations, basketball and more.

The Fan Fest will also include fun and interactive fitness and dance classes led by Shape Up NYC. Basketballs and t-shirts will be provided for all participants. The Fan Fest will conclude at 1 p.m.

The Brooklyn Dribble is part of the Liberty's first-ever Summerpalooza event series, which includes various community events planned during the team’s summer break.
